offers a full range of legal services for matters relating to immigration law.   Our services range from visitor visa extensions to complete permanent residency processing.   We have particular experience handling matters with more complicated facts patterns, such as those requiring waivers of inadmissibility.  Our diverse experience allows us to give advice on any matter falling within the Immigration & Nationality Act.  We reserve the right to decline any matter determined not to be meritorious.

Employment Based Immigration:
As much as sixty percent of our practice relates to employment-based immigration matters.    Our expertise includes all aspects of nonimmigrant and immigrant visa petitions. Although employment and family based immigration matters make up the majority of cases represented by our office, we are experienced in a number of other important aspects of the immigration law.  In particular, our attorneys represent individuals facing removal/deportation from the United States in their requests for relief from removal, including cancellation of removal, adjustment of status, voluntary departure and political asylum.  In addition, we represent individuals in their applications for temporary protected status, NACARA benefits, Family Fairness, benefits under VAWA and other less common benefits under the Immigration & Nationality Act.

Another important area of our immigration practice is the representation of individuals in naturalization and citizenship matters.

Other Areas of our Practice:
In addition to handling all matters relating to immigration law, Kempster, Keller & Lenz-Calvo, Ltd. offers legal services in the area of real estate, family law, workers’ compensation, and corporate legal matters.  Our real estate services range from representing buyers and sellers with their real property transactions to representing individuals in forcible detainer actions, preparing lease agreements and land trust matters.  Our family law services include dissolution of marriage, adoptions and declaration of invalidity petitions.  Our workers’ compensation practice involves representing injured workers before the Illinois Industrial Commission.  We also represent small companies in incorporating and organizing their businesses, obtaining necessary licenses and handling the purchase and/or sale of assets.
