She practices immigration law and federal litigation, with a focus on removal defense, federal litigation, family-based immigration, administrative and federal appeals, and complex humanitarian relief.
Prior to practicing law, Ms. Aguilar spent more than a decade working for software-as-a-service (SaaS) companies as a Customer Success Manager. Ms. Aguilar earned her Juris Doctor from Chicago-Kent College of Law and began her legal career while in school, working as a legal assistant and law clerk, with a focus on immigration and family law. During law school, she focused her studies on trial advocacy, federal litigation, administrative law, and immigration law.
Ms. Aguilar is passionate about advocacy in high-conflict and complex matters and approaches each case with both strategic determination and personal insight gained through her own experiences with the legal system.
