Louise Carhart began practicing immigration law in Chicago in 2022 and joined Kempster, Corcoran, Quiceno & Lenz-Calvo Ltd in 2025. Ms. Carhart’s practice focuses on employment, family, and humanitarian cases.
Prior to joining Kempster, Corcoran, Quiceno & Lenz-Calvo, Ltd., Ms. Carhart worked at Legal Aid Chicago practicing immigration and farmworker’s rights law. While in law school, Ms. Carhart participated in Loyola University Chicago’s Immigrant Detention Project, where she worked with clients detained at the Southern Border and interned with the Legal Aid Society of Metropolitan Family Services and Legal Aid Chicago. During college, she studied in Santiago, Chile. Prior to law school, Ms. Carhart was a legal assistant at Kempster, Corcoran, Quiceno & Lenz-Calvo, Ltd. working on removal defense.
