Lydia Lopez began practicing immigration law in the Bay Area, California, in 2023. She joined Kempster, Corcoran, Quiceno & Lenz-Calvo, Ltd. in 2026. Ms. Lopez’s practice focuses on removal defense, family, and humanitarian cases. As the daughter of immigrants, she is passionate about providing comprehensive representation to all her clients.
Prior to joining Kempster, Corcoran, Quiceno & Lenz-Calvo, Ltd., Ms. Lopez successfully represented clients in a variety of different cases, including asylum and Cancellation of Removal before the San Francisco, Concord, and Sacramento Immigration Courts. While in law school, she participated in the Immigration Policy Clinic and Deportation Defense Clinic at the University of San Francisco, School of Law.
Prior to law school, Ms. Lopez attended Gonzaga University, where she led an immersion trip to Nogales, Arizona, during which students met with various agencies to explore the complexities of the U.S. immigration system. After graduating from Gonzaga University, Lydia worked at the Progressive Leadership Alliance of Nevada, where she helped register voters, planned citizenship fairs, and organized for immigrant rights in Nevada.
