An attorney with the firm since 2015, Mr. Coenen became a partner of Kempster, Corcoran, Quiceno & Lenz-Calvo, Ltd. in 2023. He primarily practices immigration law with a focus on family and employment-based immigration. His areas of expertise include a broad spectrum of non-immigrant visas and both family and employment-based permanent residency processing. Nicholas is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), including serving as an invited speaker at AILA meetings, conferences, and webinars.

Prior to joining Kempster, Corcoran, Quiceno & Lenz-Calvo, Ltd., Nicholas worked at the University of Wisconsin Law School Immigrant Justice Clinic. There, he represented clients in a variety of areas including removal defense, T and U visas, and post-conviction relief, among others.
