On August 3, 2020, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) issued a final rule outlining changes in fees for certain
immigration and naturalization benefit requests which was scheduled to take effect October 2, 2020. However, on September 29, 2020, a court in the Northern District of California ruled that USCIS cannot implement the new fees or new forms at this time.
